Recently I have been delivering leaflets promoting David Phillip Estate Agents to the residents of Bramhope, and as I walked around this lovely area in North Leeds I was impressed with the number of beautiful Christmas wreaths adorning many of the properties. We also attended the switching on of the Bramhope Christmas lights this year, which is a great yearly tradition for the residents of Bramhope too. This got me thinking about the Christmas traditions that we have not only in the UK but also around the world – here are a few.
I read with interest an article published today that the RICS this week have launched the new mandatory RICS Home Survey Standard, following an industry and consumer consultation held earlier this year.
I read with interest Sharon Dale@ Property words report on price predictions that appeared in the Yorkshire Post Property News on Saturday, November 16th, which read
‘‘Yorkshire is forecast to see the UK’s second highest rise in property values over the next 5 years and the North will surge ahead of the south in predicted price growth” according to Savills.
I read with interest that the Government has announced an initiative to use Proptech (Property technology) to ‘digitally transform house buying’ – this will help to speed up how we buy and sell homes. Having previously worked in the agile world of advertising and marketing in my opinion this is not before time.
Think Christmas is a quiet time for people looking to move? – think again.
Every year Rightmove’s traffic at least doubles between Christmas Day and Early January.
With bonfire night here, it is likely that you may be out visiting an organised bonfire. In Bramhope, we are lucky to have an organised display this evening where you can enjoy a night of family fun, food, fire and a professional firework Display. Entry from 6pm.
However, there are a few simple precautions that you can take that should help keep burglars at bay whilst you are enjoying the fireworks
