Christmas 2020 is looking to be a Christmas like no other as a result of Covid-19. At David Phillip Estate Agents we have had to change some of our Christmas Traditions – the office party won’t be until Spring (we did have a lovely afternoon tea from Betty’s in the office) there’s no visiting Castle Howard to see the beautiful Christmas decorations and the tree, and the Harewood House Experience is a lot different too with its decorations too this year.

Regions are now classed as medium, high or very high, which means that many people are living under different local lockdown restrictions. As I am writing, Leeds is currently on Tier 2, meaning that you can’t meet with anybody outside your household or support bubble in an indoor setting but does this mean that you are restricted to buying or selling a home at this time too?
The answer is – No, you can move house during local lockdowns even if you are living in a tier 3 (very high) area, which Leeds currently isn’t.
