Selling your home during Covid-19 – an update
This week the Government introduced the three tier system for England to help control the speed of Covid-19. Regions are now classed as medium, high or very high, which means that many people are living under different local lockdown restrictions. As I am writing, Leeds is currently on Tier 2, meaning that you can’t meet with anybody outside your household or support bubble in an indoor setting but does this mean that you are restricted to buying or selling a home at this time too?
The answer is – No, you can move house during local lockdowns even if you are living in a tier 3 (very high) area, which Leeds currently isn’t.
Estate Agency with plans in place for the threat of Coronavirus
The threat of Coronavirus is something that all companies should have plans in place for, both in terms of Customer Expectations as well as the welfare of Employees. At David Phillip Estate Agents we have plans for both, and today we are putting our plans into action as if it were the real thing.
When we created our business at the end of 2018, we invested in all the best ‘cloud’ technology to ensure a 24/7 business, running from anywhere (although we do have a small office in Bramhope, North Leeds).
