Several light shows will be held throughout Leeds starting tomorrow for two nights, using an array of technology to create stunning light displays
In 2019, the show, which started in 2005 was reportedly enjoyed by over 150,000 people, 2020 was cancelled due to Covid-19, but the show made its return in 2021.
This year’s event will have the theme of Playful City, with more than 50 mesmerizing light installations, dynamic projections and interactive artworks across some of the city’s most iconic locations.
A hi-light of the festival will be a projection on The Queens Hotel of a huge digital rollercoaster ride
The first show is starting tomorrow at 6pm at Left Bank. Most of the other shows start at 6.30pm across the city on Thursday, with the final stages finishing between 6pm 10pm on Friday.
Most events that are part of Leeds Light night 2022 are free, so you can simply turn up and enjoy the show.
