Release of pent-up demand leads to Rightmove’s busiest ever day on May 27th

Wednesday 03 Jun 2020

Usually Rightmove records their busiest days in January and February and almost never when there is warm weather, so the combination of pent-up demand being released, new people entering the market and no half-term holidays, it has led to a spring boost.

The areas with the strongest interest from buyers compared to last year, measured by the number of property details being viewed on Rightmove including floorplans, pictures and videos, places along the south coast and northern towns and cities have also seen some of the highest viewing figures .

At David Phillip Estate Agents, we use site maps as well as floor plans, have a professional photographer and use area videos too – we also have 3d virtual tours on our properties!– people can view properties from the safety and comfort of an armchair.

It is little wonder then that we have sale agreed over £3million of property since lockdown as well as launching new instructions – all in the new way of working following Government guidelines for Covid-19

So if you are looking to move home in the Leeds area please call us on 01134 676 400 for a free market appraisal or advice on how to market your property safely during Covid-19. W: a: 86, Leeds Road, Bramhope, Leeds
