Earth Day is an annual event celebrated April 22nd. Worldwide, various events are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First celebrated in 1970, Earth Day now includes events in more than 193 countries.
You have instructed your Estate Agent, your 3D virtual viewing has been filmed, the photographer has taken your photos, the for sale board is up, your Social media campaign is ready to go and the floorplans and site maps are done. That's one of the key takeaway messages in the Chancellor's Spring Statement this week. As the government introduces its Future Homes Standard, requiring that all new-build properties use low-carbon heating and become more energy efficient. Other headlines included the expansion of the Affordable Homes Guarantee Scheme by up to £3 billion. Which will enable housing associations to build an extra 30,000 new homes through the scheme.
The Latest index focussing on cities from Zoopla reveals that 13 cities outside London and the South East are experiencing the strongest price growth. As some uncertainty spreads over Brexit and Theresa May is hammering out a deal, house price research shows that may cities outside London have shrugged off the Brexit blues.
Over half (52%) of millennial's are willing to purchase an alternative dwelling over a flat or a house to get on the property ladder. According to a new study commissioned by residential and leisure moorings provider BWML, it revealed that 55% of millennial's are struggling to save the deposit required to purchase a ‘traditional ‘ property and are therefore looking for an alternative.
