On 8th and 9th June, Leeds will host the Country’s most prestigious Triathlon. This is the fourth time this event will return to the City, which will see elite (including many of the Team GB’s aspiring Tokyo 2020 Olympians) and amateur triathletes competing across the two days. Amateur triathletes will complete a swim in Waterloo Lake, Roundhay Park before completing a bike route that takes participants towards Headingley before returning to Roundhay Park. In its 12th year, the Dragon Boat Race is a corporate or group team-building event and family fun day that helps support hundreds of children and young people across the region.

May is national walking month, and with the lovely weather we are experiencing here in Yorkshire, what better way to join the annual celebration organised by Living Streets to celebrate. At David Phillip Estate Agents, one of our favourite Instagram accounts is ‘Find this door’ it has 182k followers and is a ‘community of Door Lovers’ – we love the vibrant and unusual pictures it posts of doors all over the world that are interesting, beautiful and historical and in nearly all cases they really stir the imagination. As I look at these pictures when they are posted on Instagram, it makes me wonder what lies behind each wonderful door and also the importance of the front door of any property.
